A Look Inside Fashion Designer Vera Wang’s Home

For those of you who love a modern and sleek yet sophisticated environment, then you will love fashion designer Vera Wang’s new getaway home located in the heart of Beverly Hills.

Wang ties in one interior and fashion trend that never seems to fade away, black and white. Her minimalist fashion style mimics her interior style: simple, sleek, and oh so stunning.

Take a look at her Los Angeles home and you, too, can mimic her style using black and white furniture pieces from Abbyson Living.

Southern Comfort

Inspired by Elle Decor’s cover of interior designer Courtnay Daniels’s southern design taste, we have put together ideas to help make your home more hospitable.

Daniels who grew up in Charlottesville, Virginia, helped add a bit of country charm to her brother’s downtown New York City living space. If she can bring southern calm and comfort to one of the most hectic cities in the world, then so can you and we are here to help!

Whether you live in the middle of the city or the middle of nowhere, below are tips and design examples to help open your home to the warming trends that are traditional southern American style.

1. Add southern romance to your living space by using neutrals. Traditional country styles incorporate shades of tan, cream, peach and gray. Interior designer Courtnay Daniels did just that to her brother’s home by using neutral furniture pieces in the living room.

2. Help make your city loft feel like a sprawling southern mansion by incorporating decorating pieces such as colorful flower bouquets, crystal chandeliers, basket bowls with edible fruit and floor to ceiling flowing curtains.
